Holidays in Baska Baska, city and port on the southeastern coast of the island, situated in the northern part of Baska Draga. Fertile land in the Baska Draga valley, through which passes Dry Ricina or Big River, have enabled farming (wheat), fishing, viniculture and wine shop, which has given rise to maritime and shipbuilding. With the old, compact part of the town was built with a new tourist facilities, and Baska a well known tourist resort. The main road (M2) is connected with the city of Krk (19 km). Together with good connection (the bridge to the mainland), Baska is linked by ferry to the island of Rab and Senj.
