Baska

Baska is a tourist resort on the island, situated on the shores of an idyllic Baška Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic. Once the place was oriented toward viticulture, livestock breeding and fishing, and today is facing the tourism industry. Accommodation is rich and varied, and is offered in a luxury hotel, private apartments, and the famous Baska Camps. The first mention of Baska is tied to the beautiful beach that stretches nearly 2 kilometers along the coast and surrounded by the Velebit mountain. On it offers plenty of fun for all ages, children will have fun on the water slide or slides, while adults can enjoy one of the cafes which are located next to the sea. The long history is recorded in many places in various sacred objects, and as a valuable historical monument, mentioned in the Baska Tablet, which is among the oldest epigraphic monuments in Croatia.
